decoding engine numbers
I am wondering if you guys can help me with decoding these engine numbers
Engine Serial # ONK 5.9L 2539 2 528AB
916
this number is located on the front of the engine just below head on driver side
Block Casting Number 53020006-360 (located on drivers side block)
Date Code? 06099

i have the same block im wanting to put into my 89 4x4 but i cant seem to find a good website for casting number all i know is it is a 360 out of a 99 ram for $200, does any body know of one of have any info on these parts?

For the crank and the heads you can also run the part numbers on the parts manuals in the FAQ.
That site has info on all specs of the Magnum engines heads cams cranks ect.
