Default Vacuum Canister....I think

New kid on the block.......My AC is automatically rotating between the Dashboard, Foot and then Defrost when I accelerate. Some one suggested it may be my vacuum canister. I have replaced a lot of parts in my day but have never tackled this one. Not sure where it is located????? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Gary

It will not the the vacuum canister. But a vacuum leak somewhere. Or even the check valve on the vacuum line. Check all hoses ect!

Is there anything I can use to narrow the search?? After the engine is shut off, I can here a slight hissing sound like "a vacuum leak" but very difficult to tell the exact location where it is coming from.

the lines run from the firewall(down by where the heater hoses go in) to the switch and back down to some little silver canisters and back to the switch, iirc. the heater switch might be whats leaking. or the hose connector behind it.
