Default replacing E.G.R.

Do you guys think it's worth it to replace the egr if the truck throws up the code?

I would try cleaning it out first, it's probably just clogged. Don't waste your money on a $50+ part if you don't have to, buy a new egr gasket and some carb cleaner and see if that solves your problem.

Good Advice, I'll give that a shot...will the trouble code erase itself if everything works out??

it will go stored in ten good trips or you can just unhook the batt and short the cables together(while unhooked) to wipe it out and start off new.
