Help. I'm working on a friends '93 Dakota,3.9 5 speed,4x4. He thought he needed a alternator, as I found out the actual noise seems to be from the transmission. When pushing in the clutch the noise gets worse. Has anyone heard of this noise? I'm guessing throw out bearing? Any help would be great.

 

thats what my guess would be. hard to tell when i can't hear it for myself.
