Default Painted wheels?

I was wondering what kind of paint would I need to paint my wheels? I am wanting to paint them black. In my mind they will look good on my truck. Is there a special kind of paint that needs to be used. I will need something that is pretty tough. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

Several choices.
1. Spray paint. Dulicolor makes wheel specific paint.
2. Powdercoat them. That is what I did.
3. Automotive paint, tons of choices to choose from.

What ever you choose the most important step is the prepwork. If done incorrectly it will not last.

I thought I did a good job on my prepwork, but 10 years later it is chipping. So it is all in the prepwork.

Thanks crazy! Im going to the parts store tomorrow and checking them out to see what I want to use. Yeah I know all about the prep work on things. I preped my hood and primed it last summer and it is already chipping off, so I gotta do that again soon also.
