Default Power Loss?

Its been a while since Ive been on DF due to work keeping me busy. I started using my truck as a DD. I noticed I had a major power loss in the engine and took me FOREVER to track down the problem. I tracked it down to 2 critical pieces components. The MAPS and Air Charge Sensor. After I changed them, I noticed the low end RPM power bobble was gone. Acceleration is well, AWESOME My fuel mileage went from 18mpg to almost 21mpg. The PO did a mod on the intake that was just . So now I'm trying to track down an intake system off a 5.2 ZJ to get rid of the top filter set up. At the moment its drawling in hot air off the top. And is in desperate need of a radiator. The top of the radiator keeps splitting and letting coolant out. Good news is Autozone dropped the price of the radiators.

Cool! Sounds like you got the power loss problem. For the radiator, see if you have a radiator shop in your town. They may be able to weld up or fix what ever is leaking. Or maybe you just have a bad cap. As for the intake my guess would be junkyard would have tons. Even a Ram or V8 will work, they are all work the same.

I'm gonna order a new radiator that has the wide core. This radiator does not like AZ heat. I need better cooling.

I talked to a guy today that has an airbox off a Ram but can't tell if its gonna clear the hood once I drop it. Its a freebee and won't know if its mine for a few more days.
