Did you wipers stop working?
Here's a tip before you spend your money on nothing.
A couple months ago Monsoon season was kicking some ***. And I forgot to replace the wiper motor cause it was inop. So I bought new one and installed it and turned on the wipers and it worked. OK, now here's where it gets fun. Every time it rained the wipers would not work at all. On a dry day, they worked. So then I said, well maybe its the switch. Got that and ripped the old switch out, in with the new. Now, the wipers didn't want to work at all.
At this point I'm looking at the chainsaw in the garage and thinking of cutting the tree down and hope it lands on the truck. Then realized I didn't have any gas for the chainsaw. Note: Need gas for chainsaw.
So I get to thinking and start looking at why its not working. Now I look at the motor and look at the plate its mounted to, and look at how the plate is mounted to the firewall. And realized 'Where's the ground'?
I go in the garage again and get two .02 cent wire connectors and an 8" piece of 10aw wire and put one end to the wiper motor and the other end to a good ground.
And the sumbich works perfectly.
