I turn the key off but the starter keeps cranking! I had to disconnect the battery so it would shut off. As soon as I connect the battery the starter turns on again. What might the problem be? Appreciate any advice.

 

Could be anything. A stuck starter solenoid or a bad ignition switch or shorted out wires.
