Sounds like the bypass hose, you have to remove the water pump to get to it. Should've attempted it yourself. I just replaced my water-pump for the first time earlier this summer. It really wasn't hard, just took a few hours.
That is exactly what it was! i would have done it myself... but it has been pouring down rain the last couple of days and I don't have the experience to work on a vehicle to that kind of caliber...
