Brakes and Headliner question
I had the same problem on my wife's mazda. After I changed all the brakes on day the pedal was really spongy and it turned out that the Master Cyl was bad. It was not leaking anywhere it was just bad internally. I put a new one on it and it was good as new after bleeding the system and all.
Hi there, when I bought my uncles truck the brakes were spongy, then they started pinching or dragging, (whatever you want to call it) to the right, my friend ended up replacing the master cylinder, his advise is check rotors and pads for glaze or possibility (since no loss of fluid) Master cylinder, and or ABS components warning. P.S. Always open bleeders to compress an ABS caliper system if you go that far... serious complications arise from dirty fluid, and backwashing it!
