well the 1st thing is my tail light keeps goin out on the driverside....is it somin with the 92, like bad wiring or just somin with my truck?

2nd thing is in the cabin nuttin works....i was listening to the radio one day and then it went blank....my radio, power side mirrors, and cabin light doesn't work...i checked the fuses and they were all good....plus i don't have the cover that tells me what fuse is for what....does anyone know what it could be?

3rd thing is gas....it runs at like 10-13 mpg and it's the V6 no V8? i changed the plugs, wires, cap, oil, air filter, threw some injector in there... any sugestions? and what is the est mpg on my truck?

If the fuses are all good it has to be the other end. I would remove and clean every body ground you can find.Cab to box in the center of the truck.Kick panel by your left foot. Column to dash bolt.Block to fire wall andthe one or two grounds for the injectors.

The estimated mpg on your truck is like 18 hyw / 15 city

did you check the fuse box under the hood? I know in my 95 there is an interior lamp fuse in the fuse box in the engine compartment behind the battery, and when it is pulled, the over head light and radio do not work.

The 3.9 mpg isn't all that much better than us 5.2ers. As far as the electrical problems, check your grounds, but especially your battery cables. If you have a bad cable that is all corroded away, it could have the same results. I had that happen to my '92, stranded me in the parking lot at the grocery store because there was too much corosion for the current to get through.

I also have a 92 Dakota and had to tap into the rear lights ground wire and tap it to the body of the truck with a bolt and connector. The reverse lights were trying to come on when you taped the brake lights. But I havnt had any problems with any thing else on the truck with the grounds yet.

FUSE PROBLEM, under the hood in your fuse block, there is a 5 amp fuse (brown) that controls radio and interior lights. Double check it.

A few years ago I had a 91 dakota and the same thing happened, one of the turn signals kept blowing fuses when I hit it. After checking everything I possibly could I found that a penny had fallen into my cigarette lighter and this was causing a short which in turn burt fuses everytime I tried to use my signals. Just an idea.

One other possibility, on my 93 DAK, which I sold, there is a major harness connection block at the fire wall, I had a ground in there go bad once and ended up drilling it out, and wiring through it. If i remember right, it takes a 5/16" nutdriver or socket to disconnect. It is located under the steering column.
