Default Clutch Master and Slave Cylinder Assembly Questions

Hey there,
I need a clutch master and slave cylinder assembly for my '89 Dakota. But, I can't seem to find one anywhere! If my memory serves me right, won't an assembly for a '90 work for the '89? Or is it the '88 and '89 are interchangeable?

Does anyone have a part number for this part? I thought I found one on RockAuto a couple months ago listed with the part number PS0590, but it looks like that is for a '95-'96.

The slave cylinder on my assembly is shot and that's all I really need, but I know these come pre-bled and whatnot and I'm not sure if it's worth it to just replace the slave cylinder. I can find a slave cylinder for an '89, so if it is possible let me know how to do it!

Thanks in advance.
Alex

We have the part manual in the FAQ. It is best to replace the entire system. You can bleed it but it is hard to do it.

you might be able to get a chevy hydraulic clutch line and use it. i'm not sure if it will work. i did manage on my truck to get a gm clutch hose to work with the master and slave cylinder. but it took a lot of patience to get it properly bled.
