Ive got a 95 v8 dakota here with the standard trans. Im wanting to drop my tf 727 trans in real soon and ive comedown to the flywheel and im stumped. Some say the stock dakota 318 flywheel will work, some say they wont. So whats the balancing like in this 318 vs say an 80's model????? would an 80's model 318 also be internally balanced like my 95 so i can use an older fly wheels? or should a 95 v8 flywheel work with a tf torque convertor?
the converter should bolt up. you cant really tell by looking at it but the 4 holes on the converter/flexplate are slightly offset and arent all equally spaced so it will only line up 1 way
