Default Lift and tires size for 89 dakota sport 4x4

I just picked up a 1989 dakota sport 4x4 3.9L 5-speed with 89k original miles in great shape I mean mint condition from a estate sale and I'm in love with it. My question is what is the best lift and size to put on it, and also the largest tire size to make it look great... any thoughts and suggestions would be appreciated

thank you

Victor

The best depends on your personal preference.

For a list of lift options and the largest tire size per lift ect check the FAQ2 in this section. Which is just a few posts above this one.

Default would 31x10.50R15 BFG fit 89 dakota

can you tell me if 31x10.50R15 BFG All Terrain T/A KO will fit on this truck without any modifications to it.... or would 31x10R15 be a better fit?

I found someone who selling 4 wheels brand new tags still on each wheel, mounted a some pretty nice rims for $500.00 and I'm trying to get info before driving 1 1/2 hrs both ways.. would be a waste of time and gas. man saids they would fit my truck being 5 lugs wheels..

appreciate any info..

Your bolt pattern is 1987-1990 5 x 4.5in
To see if the wheels will fit, it depends on what they came off of. Check the links below.

All of this info is in the FAQ. And the largest tire size is in the FAQ2.
