NV3500 parts interchange? short throw shifter

I am wanting to install a short throw shifter in my 95 dakota and cant find 1 for the dodges. I do however see several made for gm nv3500 trannys. My question is will the shifters swap from trans to trans or no

Its has been asked before. No one has tired it yet. Hahns5.2 had one on his truck and said it made it worse. So its not worth it.

If your determined try the GM one and let us know.
