Default Wheel swap...

Will Durango 15"x8" wheels fit on a stock 91 Dakota 2wd without rubbing issues when turning? I think the Dakota wheels are 15"x6". My tires are 225/75/R15 I really don't like my stock wheels, and I want to stay oe Dodge.['cuz I'm wierd that way]

It depends on the year of the Durango. 98-03 Durangos will work. Basicly only Dodge will work for our wheels.

Here is a quote from the FAQ.
Wheel bolt pattern:
1987-1990 5 x 4.5" (lots use this bolt pattern from Chevy's to Toyota)
1991-2009 6 x 4.5", 6 x 114.3 (rare, hard to find)
Wheels that will work for the 6x 4.5:
91-04 Dakotas, 98-03 Durangos, All Vipers, and 05-08 Nissan Pathfinder/Frontier/Xterra, 04-05: Cadillac SRX, Suzuki Equator 08-09.

I read that in the faq. [ a GREAT souce of information ] The diameter and lug pattern are the same, but the Durango wheels are 2" wider. I will probably measure or try a set. I know a couple of people w/ Durango's that have the wheels I want, I'll have to take tire size into consideration too.

here is a great site to see examples of factory wheels...
http://www.hubcaphaven.com/wheels.htm

problem you see it other than a few durango/dakota wheels you need to go 17'' or bigger to get at least 8'' wide

This is the wheel I want:

but it's 2" wider so I wonder if it will rub when I turn.
