Post Cracked torque converter

Does anyone here know what all tq.conv. are the same as mine? 3.9, 42rh. Will one from a 5.2 work? or maybe one from a jeep or ram? There aren't any auto dakotas being parted out around here. I need one ASAP and not too expensive. AZ has one for 144 + tax, abit steep for me right now(work kinda slow & christmas around the corner). Can y'all help me out here? I tried search but I'm on my phone and it wouldn't come up (laptop broken). TIA, Mike

Napa has NEW ones for $146. Spend the extra $2 and don't worry about it. http://www.napaonline.com/Search/Res...99&Ntk=Keyword

The V8's had a different part number. The Ram, Van with the V6 3.9 Magnum will be the same, if your still stuck on used. Also used ones may have burnt/dirt fluid in it, which is not good for your transmission.
