hello all,
Sorry I haven't had a lot of time to login.
HemiDak: I used a 2007 Dodge Ram ECM for a manual trans to fit the '07 Aspen setup. I'm definitely not a wiring guru. I found a guy on Ebay that modified my Aspen harness to plug into the standard Ram ECM. The idea behind using the ECM for manual trans was to accomodate my A500 transmission. Used the factory '92 ECM to run the rest of the truck. Had all instrumentation except for the tach. The engine was fuel injected. I didn't even change the '92 fuel pump. It could have possibly needed more pressure, but I couldn't tell because it broke your neck when it launched. In hindsight I would do it over again and use a trans from a Charger or 300. Manually shifting the 500 was not user friendly, also had to put toggle switches in for OD and lockup. Fun project though. I had the truck for 13 years and finally decided not to put anymore money into it and sold it.
Rapidtransitric: Nope, the project went as fas as it needed to go. I had been putting money into her since high school starting with a 360 mag and finally progressing to the Hemi. It was time to let her go.
I've got a '10 Chally R/T to fill the void for now.
Thanks for inquiring about the project. I've still got a lot of pictures of how everything looked under the hood, in the cab, etc. If interested give me your emails and I will send them.
Jeff

I'm no Guru either , When it comes to Dodge wiring , They changed so many things so often it's damned near impossible to learn it all , I've never seen anything like it..
I'm glad to see you successfully completed this project -"even though you sold it", it was a good project..thanks for sharing it with us..I learned a few things I didn't know..
