does anyone know what it would take to swap a np241 in to a 94 dakota? I broke mine and someone offered me a free np 241?

If I remember right it will bolt up to the transmission just fine as long as it came off a Dodge truck. But the rear shaft has a larger and different spline count. It is also longer. The front may be longer too. So front and rear Custom driveshafts will be needed. I believe a few guys in the 2nd Gen Ram section did it, check with them. What ever info you find post up here.

I believe so. But that is a lot of work, do it right the first time. You can rebuild it your self, there are kits. Check out www.napaonline.com
