While working on my 5.2 the other day I broke a sensor off on the front of the intake and am not sure what its for can ya'll help.
If your standing in front of truck looking down at thermostat housing, its just to the left of it behind the alternator, it has one single pinkish purple wire coming out of it. There is also another two wire sensor on the other side of the Tstat housing. Thanks

 

The single wire sensor is for the temp gauge, the 2 wire sensor is for the PCM.
