I know I should use the search feature, I did and didn't find exactly what I was looking for. I have a 92 and 93 Dakota, the carrier on the front of the 93 broke, I'm trying to find the ratio on the 92. I called the dealer they we're able to tell me the 93 has 3.55's, it has two tags one has 3.5 on it and the other has 3492. The info tags under the hood on both are destroyed so the are no help. The 92 is in a snow bank so that is why i'm wondering if there is an easy way to tell what it has for gears other than digging it out and taking cover off to count teeth. Thanks for the help, need to try and get on the road this weekend.

you could request a build sheet from chrysler. pull the diff covers, could be a tag on the diff cover, or iirc, there is a tag under the carpet behind the pass seat that might say...there was one other place i found that says but i can't remember where
