i've had monroe (the yellow ones) on my 91 ranger for 5 years and they do excelent. i also had em on my 84 motnycarlo befor i got rid of it and it handled great.

I think the yellow monroes are the gasmatic line and are similar to that of Koni/Bilstein. And no they wont be garbage Monroe is OE equipment on a lot of vehicles and like I said its all owned by the Tenneco group so it wouldnt surprise me if the same plant that makes the Rancho's makes the Monroe's.

can someone put a picture on here how a rear leaf spring helper should look like installed????? i am putting mine on and want to make sure i get it right here is what it looks like nowName:  2011-01-16_18-54-54_588.jpg

air helper,bolt on kit,check it out.they have them for 2 and 4 wheel drive.

Yes it looks correct. Use C-Clamps to close up the space in between the leafs then tighten up the center bolt.

so there should be absoulutly no gaps in between the leaf springs, tight then up with the 2 u bolts tight?

Ya should be no gaps. Once the center bolt is done then yes tighten up the U-Bolts with the Axle.

You can also get shocks that have coil-over load assist springs attached.
