Ever since the check engine light came on I've been getting about 189 miles out of 19 gallons. I do that mileage in two days. so 19 gals. @ $3.13/gal = $59.47 every two days. Nice, huh?

I drive 1800 to 2000 RPM, good weather, 19.7 even 20.4 Bad weather drop the speed to 45 and it drops to 13 to 15. I do use Lucas Fuel injection cleaner, Have door post size tires. thats about it. LOL her old 89 3.9 sips gas consistently gets + or- around 20 unless in 4x4. I actually thing that little brat could do in the 20 to 23 range interstate, it seems to sip gas.
Yeah, mine too. I get around 18 mpg (city.) I get well over 300 mi. per tank of 87 octane.

wow my 91 5.2 la 2wd auto with the 83l tank gets 400km to 450km in the city and about 600km to 650km on the highway. my co-worker has a 98 5.2 magnum and he gets 200km to 250km city and 350 km max on the highway. i use 87 octane and always have a bed full of tools. the la motors suck for hp but damn good for fuel. i know i can get better cause i do have a few fixs to do. you truck seems to be doing not bad on fuel. good luck on your fuel situation. 91 dirty

Thats nuts! Would be cheaper to fix the truck than go any more days with the problem! The wife would have kicked me out if I used that much fuel lol

Oh believe me I know but, right now I have a van with a blown head gasket, a Saturn with a bad power steering pump which in turn blew the alternator a Tracer that won't start and an Escort I had to get towed Tuesday because the friggin' power rack and pinion broke. Soooo, I kinda gotta keep this running as best I can cause we have delivery routes to tend to seven days a week.

I should just trash all that other crap and buy more Dodges'..

I'm getting on average between 14.5-15.0 mpg. I drive 50 miles a day to work and back, only about 4-5 of it is city. I found a station here that doesn't oxygenate their fuel, so I use it and put Techron additive in the tank.

I'm sorry but I got you beat and I have the smallest engine in my truck and my mileage is still worse then ya'll. My little 96 with a Jeep 2.5l 4 cylinder is lucky to get 11 mpg on the highway (and thats if I shift when the light comes on and all that good stuff). When I'm doing 80mph I'm lucky if I can pull 7mpg (its the better way to drive) LMAO Everyday I fill up my truck costs me $40 I think and I'm lucky if I can get 140 miles on my tank. But then again mine is also alittle modified. Dynomax header, I have a Catalytic Converter (it's just not functional anymore shhhhh don't tell the emissions program that), Flowmaster 40 series muffler, Cold air intake and that's it. But the sound is SO WORTH IT!
