Hi everyone. smelled fuel today. Found my fuel line rubbed on metal ( after transmission was overhauled and the installer did not adjust the line after bolting them to the trans bell housing) any way, tried to buy new and are not available. Dealer says not available either, tried to locate old stock. What are you guys doing for replacement lines. This is the one right off the fuel rail, (braided steel). Also how do you disconnect them?

 

Probably junkyard or universal kits. If I remember right they all are the quick disconnect style. The tab needs to be squeezed together. There is a tool to do it correctly.

 

Bought a steel braided line and a quick disconnect from advance, put them together.
