well i just did my upper ball joint which lead to new upper control arm, which lead to having to buy a new upper control arm bumper and 2 weeks of frustration i fixed but the problem is theres more problems under there, such as tie rods and shocks and anything in between, does anyone know any websites with good deals on something thats not cheap but not top notch

 

Cboy, all parts stores offer a less expensive line and a better line in most parts. I mostly use the zone because: If you order online you get discount on some parts, If you get their card you get $ credits which saves you monies after you have spent a certain amount. Also try asking for a better price at the register, just ask if they can do better, Mrs Newbie does that everywhere, and to my surprise she has gotten prices dropped with no problem in most stores, including parts stores. Get to know the counter people. Case in point: Replaced her front shocks, used store I am not known in. Replaced my shocks (94 dak.) supplied by counterman Ive known for many many years. Delta? Paid $10.00/shock less for sensa-trac than plain std duty ones in other big parts store.

+1 on rockauto. Advance Auto wanted $23 a joint for cheapo-line uppers, got Mevo-tech (decent mid-line brand) for like $18 a joint.
