Default 94 to 95 mirror swap

Is is possible? I can't stand that stupid bar that holds the mirror and it always comes loose. My 95 had the plastic fixed mirrors that were much better. I found a wrecked 95 with good mirrors and want to know if they are swappable or if the whole door needs changed.

Thanks.

Yes the mounting holes are the same. Both mirrors were offered in most years. I believe the plastic were on sports and the early 90's and 80's.

I personally hate those mirrors, so small and ugly. I love the large chromes, especially since I'm always hauling and towing ect.

Here is a post on how to tighten up the mirrors and you can also see the mounting bolts in the pic.

Thanks for the post, need to do this. What about the electric mirror travel? Is there an easy fix for this?

The only fix for the electronic is when you adjust your mirrors put the electronic adjustment in the center, then you can adjust it anyway you need when it gets bumped or hit ect.

Thanks for the info. I never tow or haul anything big, rarely I tow my car trailer, so I have no use for the big mirrors. Looks like a lot of places sell aftermarket mirrors.
