Default Moving the steering column

I hit the ice yesterday and went in the ditch and the truck rolled on its side and back on its wheels. The steering column fell right in my lap when this happened, and I can't get it back up. I can't line up the plastic clips with the bolts, it would need to be pushed forward by an inch or two and I can't seem to make it move at all. Is there something I have to adjust to move it?
Also, is there something I have to line up to get the gear selector to work again?

Holy Shniz!
I can't believe you rolled your truck and are already hopping right back on the saddle. If it rolled was there any other damage or did it hold up? just wondering

The plastic fender flares were busted up on that side. The tailgate was blown off, I've put it back on but it doesn't want to open now. Either the power steering pump busted or a hose came off, because if I start it up red fluid hits the belt and makes a big mess, so I can't really look to see where it's coming from without it being thrown in my face. There really wasn't any body damage at all.
I'm not sure about the transmission and 4WD. It was in drive when I went in, but moving freely like it was in neutral when the tow truck showed up. I can't tell if I'm able to shift it or not with the way it is since the gear selector isn't connected.
If the tranny and 4WD are fine, I'll be really lucky and only end up replacing the power steering pump and a headlight that stopped working.

Sounds like maybe something got bent. Can't say since we can't see the truck.

Turns out the intermediate shaft is rusted tight, that's why it won't move. Now I have to get it off and try to clean it up a bit to try to get it working again.
I also found out the power steering is fine, all that is leaking is a transmission cooling hose that goes into the radiator.
Once I get those 2 things fixed the truck should be driveable again, then I just need new tailgate hinges.

Got the steering column fixed, now my other issues. The RPM gauge is sitting at about 1400 and doesn't move, the speedometer might not move either, I'm not sure because it's running really rough and I haven't driven it. The gear selector indicator also doesn't move, is there a way to get that back connected?
Also, am I missing a clip in my picture? It's a picture of the rod that comes out of the transmission and the bracket it sits in on the other end. The problem is that every few times I move the shifter up and down the bar pops out of the bracket and I can't shift anymore. Is there supposed to be something there holding it in place?
