Exclamation 93 dodge dakota

hey i got a 93 dodge dakota with roughly 165 thousand. i know it needs some exaughst work dun to it but its making a poping sound every once and a while some one said it was a coil causing it could it also be where the exaughst isnt alowing enough back preasure? i will know more tomorrow as i will have it home and can take a look at it..... also is there any place where i can get like replacment panels for the bed over the wheel wells??????

Welcome to DF. For replacement panels check the FAQ2 in this section just a few posts above this one. A few links to replacement body panels.

As for the exhaust, depending exactly what it is, it may be pre-detonation. Which is common better ignition parts as well as a colder range spark plugs like the Autolite 3923 is best and cheep.

when you mention ignition parts do u mean a coil?

Coil, distributer cap and rotor, spark plugs, spark plug wires. Normal tune up parts.

okay thank you so much for your help this will give me a place to start looking... i drove it yester day and i forgot to mention that it seems to make the "poping" sound when your frist take off at lower rpm and it only does it once and a while
