Default abs light and park brake light

Is this due to maybe guy didnt bleed the brakes properly?

On my other cars its usually a caliper that is leaking ...

would it be that or maybe air in the lines?

is it for sure the front or can drums cause stuff like this ?

never had cars with drums :O

It can be several things. First would be the pressure sensor sensing a differences in pressure in between the front and rear. A good Brake Bleeding is best to start with to get both sides equal. Yes it could be air in the line or moisture. Or something leaking as well.

Awsome I will do that.

Can u bleed drums ? or do I just bleed the fronts?

I will look for leaking if its not leaking any where then I will try something else.

But the main cause for un balance would be the fronts? or the rears ?

like I said dont know much about drums

Bleed all 4 wheels. Start with the furthers to the closest. Right Rear to Front Left.

yes if the e brake is stuck enough to trip the light that would cause it to stay on...bleed the lines than check the ebrake cable

would the e brake make the abs light come on also ?

any other way to relase the e brake other then the handle in the truck?

or maybe my handle is not releasing 100%...

The only trigger for the emergency brake is the switch above the pedal and one of the cables sticking won't cause the lights to come on, know that from experience lol.

jsut talked to the guy I bought the truck from and he told me the parking brake is messed up and he never used it due to that.

But you guys are telling me that if its jammed since i pressed on it it would not cause the abs and parking brake light to come on :S

On my way to work this morning there was ice on the roads, I used the brakes but its weird... there not sticking well it doesnt seem like that.

But when I did press on the brakes a little it like locked up completely ... weird

Grab the e-brake pedal and pull up, if the light goes off that's the issue for that light. Also if you're truck has the speed sensor on top of the rear differential housing bad readings from that can cause both lights to illuminate.
