I had a question on this does the fan spin either way and what i mean is from the pulley like i hold the pulley and i can move the fan blades either way is this good i have the belt off if that helps or is the nut loose?

Yes. The fan blades are attached to the pulley by a temperature sensitive fluid clutch, so when it is cold, the blades should spin free.

 

The fan can spin by hand both ways, but the engine only turns it one way (Clockways from looking at the motor). In the FAQ2 there is a write up on ways to remove the nut.
