OBD 1 and engine leans out then dies.
Yes I agree that it would have been neat. However, there was just too much time and money going into the set up and not showing positive results. All sensors were checked, tested... All wires were tested end to end and still had a problem.

The owner used a complete aftermarket harness made specifically for the OBD1 and all sensors were for the OBD1 system . 1995 versions. I beklieve that it may be something between the Crank and Cam sensor but even so, we could not figure out why it takes 5 hours to recover after running for 5 minutes and quitting. The crank sensor was one supplied through NAPA; the rest were Dodge.
Great news. Replaced the crank position sensor this afternoon. (Last effort under duress) and everything fired up and ran forever. Took the NAPA supplied one out and used a Mopar one and all is well.
