I want your seats. Yes, yes I do. I have been looking for stock buckets for 3 years now. No luck. Its almost like they did not make it up here back in the day. I have seen literally 50+ 1 gen dakotas in yards, dealers, other ppls, etc and have never even SEEN stock buckets in person. I may have to resort to the double passanger seats this summer when I start building.

Thanks guys!

Really, no buckets?

When I was getting my console, I saw 2 trucks with buckets, one of them was the nicest pair I have ever seen, but they were expensive. They had the Ram head on the headreast area though, way cool.

Theres more consoles in the yard by me usually 15 bucks if any of y'all want me to grab one.

SCORE!

Getting a rust free Drivers side fender, and a factory fog lamp bumper with working lamps for 70 bucks. Not too bad!

Believe it or not, but the most consistent yard is Pick N Pull, Wadsworth is great, good folks, and nice and organized, cheap too! Most of the time if its small they dont even charge me, and other stuff is super resonable. They keep a lot of old stuff around too, which is nice when I go huntin for my '86 Vic.

Pick N Pull Hammond (Ind.) is good to, might be a bit of a drive for ya. I need to hit up some Wisconsin yards soon, I'm up by Antioch for work, might as well keep going the 20 minutes lol.

Got my Fender, and bumper yesterday!

Fender is the ****. Beautiful shape, those smugy things in the pic are from fingers smearing wet paint, I saned it all down to check for filler/rot, and painted it in 10 minutes just to prevent surface rust while it sits in the garage.

Bumper is nice also, good clean chrome, no rust. Lower valace isnt scratched up either.

Trying to decide if lifiting my truck around 2 inches max would be gay since its a 2WD.

Hmmmmm.

Something to think about.

Priorities are:
Put new wheels on

Get Pass. Side fender.

New Bed.

Then comes paint/bedlining.

Getting exicted to see the parts pile growning guys!

I'll look good when done. I say lift it. 2wd already looks lowered, so I say get it not so low. The bumper looks good with the offroad light holes.

Thanks, I feel the same way, even though its just a 2WD, it looks way too low for a truck. You are the man when it comes to this stuff anyways!

A 2" lift is pretty modest, and would add a little "masculinity" to your 2WD. I do not see it as a negative.
