Default Accessory bracketry

Okay, some of you are aware of my 360 roller swap. I was going to mount the alternator off the old 2 piece system (ie 273/318/360), but have decided to use the 3.9l alternator bracket. With the exception of cutting part of it (aluminum heads are being used) I think I may have misplaced a bracket/rod for the lower part of the alternator. If someone could post a pic of their "stock" 3.9l alternator where the base or rather bottom of the alternator is attached I would be eternally grateful. FYI, I have a plethora of brackets from multiple chrysler systems and just need to narrow it down.

Are you looking for the Magnum or LA engine. The Magnums is a large bracket. I'm not sure about the LA's

After a quick Google search I got these.

LA

Magnum

It would be the tbi style which is more like the LA. The bottom of the alternator, as I see it, does not currently have any rear mounting point since it is "floating". I do not have any reference pics, and I was not planning to visit the JY anytime soon. The second pic is close, but I cannot see the rear of the alternator at the bottom. Thanks for looking though.

Here is the bracket as it exists. The rear bottom of the alternator is what I am curious about.

I see you have it installed. What is the question/problem with it? I see you need a spacer in between the bracket on the lower bolt. And the top mount needs to go somewhere, but it looks okay from here that is.

That is what I am confirming. What does the "spacer" look like? As far as the top, are you referencing a support to the manifold?

The lower mount for the alternator usually will have a hollow tube/bushing/spacer (Green Arrow). A sleeve that goes in between the tabs of the alternator. So when you tighten it up everything will be tight against a solid object. Without it the alternator inner tabs are loose.

The Blue arrow is pointing to one that looks like it might be a similar object.

The Red Arrow is the top mount hole that looks way to tall for the intake. Where does that go?

The red arrow is the top bolt for the a/c delete pulley. There are two more at the base for triangulation. So the "green arrow" bolt only has a bushing for the alternator?

Yes. You can just get a small tube and cut it to size.

I found the only non a/c dakota in Florida and borrowed a few parts. As you can see in the pic the is indeed a rear bracket for the alternator. I took the loom as well, because I liked it more than mine.
