Default Is there a floor shifter?

Ok, heres another one for all you smart fourm people. Is there a floor shifter out there thats works on a 87 Dakota-3.9-Auto Tranny. I have herd rumors about the shifters from Hurst, B&M, Lokar, Ect. that are made for the 727/904 will work, but I cannot find anyone who has tried it them self to see if it does. I belive the trans with the 3.9 is an A-998 I think, but could be wrong. Please HELP, I'm going insane. Thank You.

with electric overdrive any 3 speed should work...i have one from b&m(iirc) in my 49' chevy pickup. not sure what brand it is. i would check but the truck is stored at my grandpa's cottage 5hrs away.

basically its a cable driven shifter that(i'm sure) some fabrication might be required.
