Default cranking ware...

i want to crank my torion bars.. how bad is the ware on the ball-jots and what not...... i'm going to keep my truck and maybe soon do a sas swap.. but want to just run 32s with body lift and crank... then later 35s and sas..... but how long do the ball-joints last........

also i was looking at my transfercase and tranny.. is the transfercase on my 91 flipable... i mean can i run a passenger drop axle ... with same transfercase....

or does anyone know of any transfercase that will bolt up to my tranny that is passenger side drop...

my truck is a 91 extended cab 318 v8..

thanks for the help once again..

i thought you were selling you truck?

depending on how high you are going, your ball joints and CV's will have more stress and could go sooner.

How soon? impossible to say. The could be shot already and the lift will make it noticeable. Happened to another guy on here recently. Or they could be good and go another few years.

If you still got stock ball joints it might eat the up quickly, they are old anyways.
As far as my knowledge there is nothing that will bolt up with a passanger side drop.
No you can not flip your transfercase.
There might be an adapter to adapt pass. drop TC to the trans. Try www.advanceadapters.com

Yes tons of SAS with full size axles. The FAQ2 has them all, incuding 95_318SLT's.
Also my SAS with a Jeep GW axle that is the exact width as our trucks. Link is in my sig.

Thanks!

The 1 tons will be nice and strong. 95_318SLT has full size axles HP Dana 44 front and Dana 60 rear and they don't stick out to far.

For me I like to keep the tires tucked under the body some, like factory.
