Default Gave away the truck :(

well, sorry to say this guys, but, I've given the Dakota away. It's not far tho. I gave it to my girlfriend. She was driving a '96 Cavalier that was falling apart, completely unreliable, and very quickly becoming a money pit. I started not being able to afford the gas in the truck. Not so much that I couldn't afford it, but more so that I'd like to start saving money for a house and more toys around the house. I still get to drive it whenever I want, I just can't say its my truck anymore lol. Ended up picking up a '00 Sunfire GT. Fun little car I do gotta say! Its got the 2.4L 4 cyl, with dual exhaust, pw sunroof, pw mirrors, pw locks, and pw windows. Automatic tranny, and a factory front and rear speaker amp. Haven't put my system in it, but I put my deck into it. Picked it up for $500 with 241,xxx KM. Runs great, starts in the winter without being plugged in (sat for 4 months without running in the dead of winter, and turned over first try!). But all in all, I will be still dropping in to visit, and ask questions about the truck should she ever run into any problems.

P.S.: The Pontiac forum is NOTHING like this forum. I went there to try and figure out a small problem with the car, to no avail. no responses, no nothing. I'm on my own with this car should it ever break! lol

EDIT: sorry, I shoulda stuck this in the General discussion section :/

Well aren't you such a great guy. Well at least you still have it to work on, when she needs it fixed.

I drove it the other day too, WOW!! what a difference from that car! lol. made me really miss riding in a boat all the time!

and yes, its always there for me to work on when she needs. we've also agreed that if she ever crashes and writes it off, or kills the motor and doesnt wanna replace it, i'll buy it back for $500 and fix the damage and itll be mine again!

If you love it, let it go, and if it loves you back, she'll return! LOL!!!
