i have a 1993 dodge dakota that will stall when i jus lightly step on the gas it wont quite, but the rpms drop very low. i have changed the fuel pump, filter, new distributor cap, spark plugs and wires, and then i started lookin at sensors and put in an Idle air valve, cleaned out the throttle body were IAV goes. i checked my mass air sensor and my throttle position, when i unplug those it dont even hardly run. any ideas were to go from here, i am thinking of taking the whole throttle body off and cleaning it. it wont do it right away it has to be warm then it will act up, but it only does this at low idle taking off once goin on road pickup runs good.

Sounds like a vacuum leak. From where, I could not tell you.

 

if you turn your key on and off three times then on your check engin light will blink count them and look up the codes on here (so if it ** pause ** the code is 22 ) hope this helps

 

Wondering if this problem ever got solved. I have the exact same problem with my 93 Dakota.
