Blower fan for AC in 93 Dakota
Hello all new to the board, needing a answer on a small problem that happened to me and dont know where to start.
Driving home from work and fan on AC just quit, check the 30 amp fuse under the dash, its not blown, and also the fuse under the hood in the little black box, its not blown either.
Someone told me might be a relay, where would I find that, I know where the fan itself is, but dont know what all exactly to look for.
Could it be a vacuum hose somewhere that has formed a small leak or what.
Hope to fix this myself and learn in the process.
Maybe someone else out here and had the same problem.
Thanks,
Brian

Sounds like th same problem I had. I gradually lost my differnt speeds on the fan and then it quit all together. I located the blower motor and found that it worked. There is a resistor on the firewall under the hood passenger side with a few wires connected to it. It goes for about $8. I've been able to fix almost all the problems on my 1993 Dakota by myself over the years. It has 170,000 miles on it.
