Default Leaf Spring Purchase

other than a Junkyard, where would be some good places to look for leaf springs. Meaning websites and stuff like that. Looked online but im not wanting to get ripped of cause i dont know anyone that buys parts off line

do you know of any sites that offered used ones, could adding a block to one side be safe or work? trying to level out the back

www.carparts.com or www.criagslist.org or Your local junkyard for used.

If it is 1in or less the block may be okay. But I don't recommend blocks.

An Add A Leaf kit will do. Do both sides if it is not even do only the sagging side.
www.summitracing.com $50 or so.

is the leaf size 2.5 in width? found some on summit for cheap

Yes it is. It could also be slightly wider or narrower.

when i install the add a leaf where is the best place to put it, would the bottom be best, and would it be safe to add 2 and if so where would the second one go?

Yes get as close to the width as possible.

Most likely install it on the bottom or if you have shorter leafs than the AAL then put it over the shorter ones and below the larger ones. Keep them in order short to long.

Yes you can do 2. It may make it overly stiff. 1 kit includes 2 leafs, 1 leaf per side. Usually they come with new center pins. If not they are cheep, you will need New longer ones.
