I noticed my cooling fan is on from the time I start my truck till I shut it off. I went to check the relays, and there is a spot for FAN RELAY, but no relay. I was thinking the previous owner took it out? But when I call the parts stores, they say it doesn't show up on their computers. So I call the dealer, and they're even more inteligent, saying there might be a couple places somewhere in the USA they can order it through. WTH? Do I not have a fan relay on my truck? If anyone has a 93 dakota, can you look in your power distribution center and tell me if you have a fan relay. Thanks!

 

The 4cly only came with an electric fan. The V6 and V8 has engine driven fan that is driven by the water pump. That is why your fan is always on and no relay.

If you have a problem with the fan the Fan Clutch is probably the reason.
