Default plans for after the truck dies

i have found another idea!! maybe turn it into a rat rod? Rat Rods are somthin that have always caught my eye. plus there probably arnt to many 93 dakota rat rods out there. lower it, chop the top and lower the windows and things like that, probably would be cheaper than makin it into a dirt racer. and i wouldnt have to worry about paint or nothin like that

Rat Rods only work on older vehicles where it give the USED look. A 90's truck with that look will just look beat up.

But a racer or chopped or lowered look is very possible if that is what you like. Yuck, JK!

When mine goes, I have a nice 360 and a bulletproof 727 sitting in my garage out of my old '75 Dodge that an old [x] friend totaled

Zero to Chevron really fast.

Never cared for the Ratrod look (always makes me think of Tetanus), but what about a "Road Warrior-ish" 1/4" plate and DOM tubing 4x4. You could sub road work through the woods and look cool as heck doing it. Plus, you can't break it beyond gussets and welding (within limits), if you hit tree's and such. There's always the salt truck approach as well.

never heard of "road warrior" trucks before, what woyld i have to do to make it a road warrior truck? if it was to become a rat rod it wouldnt be a real rat rod, just some of the syles like being lowered, choppin the top or lowerin the cab, that kind of stuff, then get a good hot rod style paint job, probably flat black and candy red scalops or whatever there called

"Road Warrior" as in the Mel Gibson movie titled "The Road Warrior". Those aussies are always taking trucks and welding plates and bars to assume that they are serviceable in post apocolyptic society.
