3.9l magnum timing cover HELP!!
Hey everyone! I am currently changing my timing chain to a comp cam double roller, in the process I am also installing a gmb performance waterpump, and a jet 180 degree thermostat.
My problem is, do I really have to remove my a/c and alternator bracket to remove my timing cover?! If so I already have it unbolted but my a/c lines are in the way! And I was thinking of removing my a/c entirely ( i dont use it), and would be looking for a safe way to do so. Any help would be nice!! Thanks!

Yes you do have to remove the bracket. It is one large piece that connects all the accessories together. Even if you think you can clear it without removing it, its going to be in your way. Take the time to get more room to work with.
You can remove the A/C, but if you want to sell the truck your not going to what you want. Also if you doing thinking your going to gain HP or MPG your not. Just use a A/C delete pulley. Check the FAQ2 in this section for a link.

That's what I thought. Wonderful! Haha! Yeah, I just figure it'll have less parasitic drag... But is there a certain way to remove it without getting sh*t everywhere? haha. And where should I start?
