Default e.g.r. system elimination?

What Up; anyone know how to fool the 92 to 95 kota 5.2, (5.9 hp), ecm so it don't set a code if I want to get rid of the egr system? Getting ready to buy headers and intake and would just as soon eliminate the e.g.r system...Thanks

There is no way to fool the system. But the EGR doesn't come on all the time. So if you do eliminate it you will get the code 32 EGR every once a while. I usually only got it after an hour or so of straight driving. For me that was once a few months.

There are lots of headers that have the EGR port on it. www.summitracing.com

If your thinking eliminating the EGR will give your more HP or more MPG it won't. Many do so I have to post it.

Yeah, I know Crazy. In fact it's supposed to help with pre-ignition. I just think it's more stuff to go wrong and wear out, plus the intake I want don't have a port for it. I thought I'd heard that there was a way.

What intake and headers are you thinking of using?
