Default lift combo help?

My truck is 4wd, 93 manual trans, extent cab, 3.9l.

I wanna lift it, I found pra-642x kit on summit racing, 2in body and found 1-3in torsion key on eBay. Will these work together? If so do I need to modify steering shaft or anything? And where can I get bumper brackets to raise with body? Can I get 33in tires to fit under this setup? And is there anything I can beef up after doing this or add to suspension to help stabilize new height to truck?

One more thing, 2in body lift, then 3inch torsion front and 3in block under springs in back? Can I do this?

What can I fit on my 4x4?
Stock...29 -30 inches
1-2 inches... 31s
2-4 inches... 33s
4-5 inches... 35s
Torsion keys will probably give you about 2". Get some AAL (add a leafs) for the back which should give you about 2" as well

Yes you can use the body lift and keys and blocks, but I would suggest AAL like stated above. For the body kit you will need to cut and weld in a spacer for the shift rod for the transmission on an auto. Also modify the fan shroud. There is no bumper brackets for the body lift, you will have to drill new holes on them, very easy to do.

Yes you could fit 33's with that setup.

But if you do 33's you should change your axle gears to a lower ratio to keep your MPG and HP the same or else you will loose some. As well as to keep your speedo correct.

What gears would u suggest? Where do I get them? Changing them out is one of the few things I've never done before, how hard is it? Any special tools?

Add a leaf springs can make your ride harsh and block can be ejected if you actually use it offroad. I've even seen ejected lift blocks on the side of the road before. I highly suggest getting a new spring pack. You can get it made for any height, ride is much smoother, flex will be better, and it's the easiest suspension part to source.

Check Deaver springs or a local shop.

Also, a helpful way to fit bigger tires is flared fenders. Glassworks unlimited has some cool ones for our trucks.

A trick that we do to our toyotas is called a balljoint spacer. I'm sure one could be cut for our trucks. These effectively provide 1-2 inches up front and actually extend the window of travel. You are limited by the cv range. Don't want them to bind, but I'm sure like the Yotas, there are some gains to be had that way.

Lifting costs money. It might just be cheapest to find a jeep axle and SAS that thing. Gobs of travel and leafs are relatively cheap to have made.

If you do go with blocks, I'd suggest traction bars to prevent axle wrap.

AAL can make it stiffer but you got to remember it is a truck not a Cadillac, it will always have a stiff ride.

As for a speedo correct no there is no plug in, due to our 93-down speedos are cable driven. You will need to do some math and swap in another speedo gear with a different ratio. But like stated before going from 28 to 30 is not a big jump, I doubt you need to mess with it. Get a GPS and see how far off it is at 10mph increments. Most smart phones now days have GPS.

I disagree with that statement. A spring pack designed with the weight of the vehicle and the desired arch can supply lift and supple ride.

A spring pack with more thinner leaves makes for a compliant smooth ride. The arch and length control height.

If your budget is under 200.00 or you embrace the mundane, then your statement is true. I've seen your truck and I'm pretty sure neither of those apply.
