Want to change the plenum gaskets in a '93, 5.2, 4x4. Wondering if its a big job or what ? ?

 

Its not to bad but it can be a little long due to how much needs to be removed.

For the best details on the removal and re-install see the service manual that is downloadable from the FAQ in this section, just a few posts above this one.

 

From memory disconnect throttle and cruise cables, fuel line to the rail, alternator, unbolt and relocate the A/C and alternator bracket (you can leave them attached to the bracket) remove the EGR tube and it should be able to come of. Those are the highlights anyway I'm sure I missed something.
