Default Transfer Case Drain Plug Removal

On my 94 V6 4x4 there is little room due to the frame cross member to get a wrench on the bottom drain plug of the transfer case.I recall using a big crescent wrench but its too tight and that method now slips off.Any one out there have a tip

Ratchet, socket, extension.

Weird that you don't have space, my transfer case is about 6 inches from that crossmember.

I also have a club cab, the torsion bar crossmember is several inches behind the t-case... The crossmember can't be removed, it's welded to the frame.

The prior 3 posters don't show that they have a 1994 3.9 V6 Slt xtra cab so mine is a rare edition worth big $$.Seriously they do make changes year to year.

If you do drain your T case,m make sure you take out the fill plug first. If you remove the drain plug and let the fluid run out but cant get the fill plug out, then your pretty much SOL.
