Default Start, stall, start, stall again

Hi all I'm back again LOL I fixed my trans and now this happens two weeks later. My 94 Kota 318 was running great then suddenly croked as I was going down hill, figured it was out of gas so reached for my reserve can and dumped it in, fired right back up but died in 1/4 mile. Waited a couple minutes and it fired up again went a couple hundred feet and died again. I waited a couple more minutes and it started again and died as before. I finally got a tow to a safe spot for the night. It acted as if the ASD shut off the fuel and spark, cooled off enough to start and got warmed up and tripped again, So I am leaning towards crank sensor, map sensor, clogged up fuel filter of fuel pump on its way out. Maybe even a bad coil or pick up assembly. Perhaps notorious splice? Will test for spark & fuel when I get back there tomorrow, I just haven't got a chance to diagnose anything yet as all my equipment was home and truck sits a half hour away. So to those who have the knowledge I seek what do you think I should check first?

Many THX

The first place I would start, would be to check the computer for codes. If there are no codes and the engine isn't getting fuel, look into the notorious splice, fuel filter or fuel pump. If it's getting fuel but no spark, wait for someone with more knowledge on the known things to go in the ignition to chime in, as I have never had an ignition problem. And finally, if there are codes related to startability, then replace the dead sensors
