Default driver door doesnt always stay shut?

Half the time I go to shut it, it doesn't fully engage, like it still locks but the door comes out like an inch and I have to push it hard a couple times to get it ro stay, how do I fix it?

Just like the tailgate the striker is adjustable. That most likely will be your best bet, also clean and lube up the mechanism. Double check your door hinges to make sure they are not ripping apart.

+1 Like crazy said, check the hinges visually and mechanically.

Open the door to about 45 degree open and lift up on it. If you can lift the door and hear the hinges move, they need to be replaced.

Problem is they are welded. I wound up going to the local u-pull and finding an acceptable donor door and replaced the whole damn thing. I did scavenge what I could off the old door, never know when you'll have to replace the glass, regulator, or anything else, right?
