Power loss with a small load in bed
Hi All,
I have a weird issue. I put a generator in the back of the truck, 96 DAk, 2wd, 3.9L Auto. by load, I mean just 200 pounds, there is a huge lose of power. When I carry my wife and kids in the cab there is no power lose.
I am thinking rear end, I intend to open this baby up this weekend and take a look see, but wanted to know if there is somewhere else I could look, and when I got the rear end open, what should I look for besides the obvious chunks of metal, broken teeth, things like that. Slop? wear patterns, good? Bad?
thanks all
