How big can I go for tires without a lift?
I'm brand new on this forum, my name is Wil Kilcup and I'm from Seattle but I've been visiting for a couple weeks while trying to decide whether or not I should purchase a 1st Gen Dakota or not. Thanks for all the helpful information you have provided me with.
So with that said, I've just purchased a 1993 Dakota 4x4. It might have a small lift on it because next to other "stock" Dakotas, mine is 3-4 inches taller but the body doesn't appear to be lifted from the frame and I have no idea how to check the suspension, so I'm not sure. Anyways I have 255/75r15 tires on it right now and I want to know if I could squeeze a set of 31x10.50R15 or possibly 32x11.50R15 without getting a lift or breaking anything. If I can figure out how to attach a picture, I'll show you what I'm working with as far as clearance with the current tires is.
Thanks.
